Deal Alert: Hilton Aspire Card Offering 175K Bonus Points

iTravy TeamJanuary 22, 20265 min read

The Offer

The Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card is currently offering 175,000 Hilton Honors bonus points after spending $6,000 in the first 6 months. This is one of the highest welcome bonuses we have seen on this card and significantly above the typical 150,000-point offer.

175,000 Hilton Honors points is enough for 2-3 nights at a top-tier Hilton property, including Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR Hotels & Resorts locations worldwide.

Card Benefits

The Aspire Card ($550 annual fee) comes with substantial perks that can offset the fee multiple times over:

  • Automatic Hilton Honors Diamond status -- the highest tier, with suite upgrades, complimentary breakfast, and executive lounge access
  • $250 Hilton Resort credit annually
  • $250 airline incidental credit annually
  • Free Weekend Night Reward annually (valid at properties up to 150,000 points per night)
  • 14x points at Hilton properties, 7x on flights and dining, 3x on everything else
The free weekend night alone can be worth $500+ when used at a premium property.

Best Use of 175K Points

Based on current availability, here are high-value redemptions for your welcome bonus:

  • Conrad Maldives Rangali Island: ~95,000 points per night. Nearly two nights in an overwater villa.
  • Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi: ~120,000 points per night. One night at arguably the most luxurious Hilton in the world.
  • Conrad Bora Bora: ~80,000-95,000 points per night. Two nights in overwater paradise.
  • Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach (California): ~70,000-95,000 points per night. A luxurious domestic option.

Should You Apply?

Yes, if: You stay at Hilton properties at least a few times per year, value Diamond status benefits (especially complimentary breakfast), and can use the annual credits. The math works out to significant positive value even after the annual fee.

Maybe not, if: You are focused on Chase Ultimate Rewards and Hyatt, already hold multiple Amex cards (4 credit card limit), or do not travel enough to use the annual credits.

Bottom line: At 175,000 points, this is one of the strongest hotel card offers in the market right now. If Hilton fits your travel patterns, it is worth serious consideration.
