Mallorca on Points: Best Hotels With Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, and More in 2026

Sarah ColeApril 1, 202612 min read

Mallorca is the Mediterranean island that has everything -- turquoise coves, limestone mountains, world-class golf, Michelin-starred restaurants, and some of the best beach clubs in Europe. It is also one of the deepest points destinations in the Mediterranean.

Unlike Santorini or Mykonos where points options are limited to a handful of properties, Mallorca has a genuine bench: four Hyatt brands (including two all-inclusive resorts), ten Marriott properties spanning Luxury Collection to Design Hotels, four Hilton properties (including two SLH boutiques), eleven IHG hotels, and a Wyndham resort. That is 30 bookable points hotels on a single island.

As of April 2026, here are the best hotels you can book with points on Spain's largest Balearic island, ranked by cents-per-point value from publicly available rates on official hotel websites.

Additional Marriott properties on the island include Es Raco d'Arta (Design Hotels, 87K--115K, up to 0.81 CPP), Hospes Maricel & Spa (Design Hotels, 78K--110K, up to 0.82 CPP), Nobis Hotel Palma (Design Hotels, 74K--80K), and Hacienda Son Antem (Autograph Collection, 41K--70K). IHG has eleven properties across the island, though CPP values are generally below 0.55.

---

1. Lindner Hotel Mallorca Portals Nous -- JdV by Hyatt (Best CPP on the Island)

Program: World of Hyatt (JdV by Hyatt) Points: 12,000--18,000/night | Cash: $227--$371/night Best CPP: 2.55¢ | Avg CPP: 1.90¢

The Lindner is Mallorca's best points-value hotel by a wide margin. Part of the JdV by Hyatt collection, this golf-and-wellness property in the upscale Portals Nous neighborhood delivers consistent CPP values above 1.5¢ -- and on the right dates, above 2.5¢. That is exceptional for any program.

The property features an on-site golf course with driving range, the Bahari Beauty and Spa, and a poolside bar, all wrapped in a design that blends African-inspired interiors with Mediterranean architecture. It sits close to Puerto Portals marina and about 15 minutes from Palma's old town.

At 12,000 points on off-peak dates -- that is just 12,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points via a 1:1 Hyatt transfer -- this is one of the most accessible quality hotel redemptions in southern Europe.

Transfer Path

Chase Ultimate Rewards transfers to World of Hyatt at 1:1. A 5-night stay at the average rate of ~14,000 points per night costs roughly 70,000 Hyatt points against ~$1,340 in cash value. That is 1.91¢ per point.

Best for: Golfers and wellness seekers. The on-site course, spa, and proximity to Palma make this a versatile base for couples or solo travelers.

2. Park Hyatt Mallorca (Most Luxurious Hyatt)

Program: World of Hyatt Points: 25,000--35,000/night (off-peak 25K, standard 30K, peak 35K) | Cash: ~$500/night avg Best CPP: 1.67¢

The Park Hyatt Mallorca is the island's flagship luxury points hotel. Set among terraced gardens in the northeast of the island, this is a proper Park Hyatt -- understated elegance, impeccable service, and the kind of refined calm that justifies the brand premium.

At 25,000--35,000 Hyatt points per night against an average cash rate around $500, you are consistently getting above 1.4¢ per point. During peak summer when cash rates climb, the value improves further.

Transfer Path

Chase UR to Hyatt at 1:1. A 5-night standard stay costs 150,000 Hyatt points against roughly $2,500 in cash -- that is 1.67¢ per point, well above the 1.5¢ threshold where Hyatt redemptions become compelling.

Best for: Couples and luxury seekers who want a refined Mediterranean resort experience. This is the property to book for an anniversary or honeymoon.

3. Sarena de Muro Resort Mallorca -- Destination by Hyatt (Best Beach Resort)

Program: World of Hyatt (Destination by Hyatt) Points: 21,000--29,000/night | Cash: $198--$475/night Best CPP: 1.77¢ | Avg CPP: 1.18¢

Sarena de Muro sits on Playa de Muro -- widely considered one of Mallorca's best beaches. This Destination by Hyatt property puts you right on the sand of a Blue Flag beach with shallow, family-friendly waters and views across the Bay of Alcudia.

Playa de Muro is on the northeast coast, about 45 minutes from Palma but in a completely different world -- quieter, more natural, and backed by the S'Albufera wetlands nature reserve. The resort offers pool access, beach service, and easy access to the charming towns of Alcudia and Pollenca.

On the right dates, the Sarena delivers 1.77¢ CPP -- strong value for a beachfront resort. Even at average pricing (25,000 points vs. $301 cash), you are getting 1.18¢ per point.

Transfer Path

Chase UR to Hyatt at 1:1. If you are choosing between Sarena and the Park Hyatt, the decision comes down to setting: Sarena for family-friendly beachfront with independent exploration, Park Hyatt for luxury resort ambiance.

Best for: Families and beach lovers. Playa de Muro's shallow waters are ideal for kids, and the northeast coast location gives you access to Mallorca's more rugged, less-touristed side.

4. Secrets Mallorca Villamil -- Hyatt Inclusive Collection (Best All-Inclusive)

Program: World of Hyatt (Inclusive Collection) Points: 25,000--44,000/night | Cash: $217--$411/night Best CPP: 1.18¢ | Avg CPP: 0.94¢

Secrets Mallorca Villamil is an adults-only all-inclusive in the Hyatt Inclusive Collection, sitting along the coast in Paguera. The Unlimited-Luxury concept includes gourmet dining, premium drinks, 24-hour room service, and spa access -- all bundled into the rate.

At 25,000 Hyatt points on lower-demand dates against cash rates above $290, you are looking at roughly 1.0¢+ per point. During peak periods the points cost rises to 44,000, but cash rates climb proportionally. The best value windows are shoulder season (May and October) when occupancy is lower but the all-inclusive premium still drives cash rates higher.

Transfer Path

Chase UR to Hyatt at 1:1. A 5-night stay at the average rate of ~34,000 points per night costs 170,000 Hyatt points -- roughly $1,595 in all-inclusive value.

Best for: Couples seeking a Mediterranean all-inclusive where you pay nothing beyond the points cost. The all-inclusive format eliminates restaurant bills and makes budgeting simple.

5. The St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort (Top Marriott Property)

Program: Marriott Bonvoy Points: 124,000--154,000/night | Cash: $721--$1,978/night Best CPP: 1.28¢ | Avg CPP: 0.85¢ 5th Night Free: Yes

The St. Regis Mardavall is Mallorca's most prestigious hotel and the island's best Marriott redemption by CPP. This sprawling luxury resort sits on the coast between Palma and Portals Nous, with manicured gardens, a full-service Iridium Spa, and the hallmark St. Regis butler service.

At 124,000 Bonvoy points on lower-demand dates against cash rates above $1,500, the CPP can reach 1.28¢ -- which is genuinely strong for Marriott. Getting above 1.0¢ CPP on a Marriott redemption is increasingly rare with dynamic pricing, so the St. Regis Mardavall stands out.

The 5th Night Free Calculation

For a 5-night stay at the standard rate of ~145,000 points per night: you pay for 4 nights = 580,000 Bonvoy points instead of ~$6,190 in cash. Effective per-night cost drops to ~116,000 points, pushing CPP above 1.0¢ even on moderate-rate dates.

Transfer Path

Chase UR or Amex MR to Marriott Bonvoy at 1:1. The high points cost means this is best for travelers with large Bonvoy balances or those willing to combine transfer partners.

Best for: Luxury travelers and Marriott loyalists. If you have the Bonvoy points and want the most premium hotel experience on the island, this is the booking.

6. Castillo Hotel Son Vida -- Luxury Collection (The Castle Hotel)

Program: Marriott Bonvoy Points: 55,000--83,000/night | Cash: $394--$670/night Best CPP: 0.83¢ | Avg CPP: 0.64¢ 5th Night Free: Yes

The Castillo Hotel Son Vida is a 13th-century castle converted into a five-star Luxury Collection hotel, perched on a hilltop in the exclusive Son Vida neighborhood with panoramic views over the Bay of Palma. It accommodates guests aged 12 and up, keeping the atmosphere refined and quiet.

The property offers access to three championship golf courses (Son Vida, Son Muntaner, and Son Quint), a full spa, and several dining options. The setting -- ancient stone walls, manicured gardens, infinity pool overlooking Palma -- is genuinely special.

At 55,000--83,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night with cash rates from $394--$670, the CPP ranges from 0.55--0.83¢. That is around Marriott's average, but the 5th night free benefit improves the math: a 5-night stay costs only 4 nights in points, effectively dropping the per-night cost to ~44,000--66,000 points.

Transfer Path

Chase UR or Amex MR transfer to Marriott Bonvoy at 1:1. A 5-night stay with 5th night free at the average ~72,000-point rate costs 288,000 Bonvoy points against ~$2,305 in cash.

Best for: Couples and adults seeking a unique Mallorca experience. The 13th-century castle setting is unlike anything else on the island.

7. Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel (Best Value Marriott)

Program: Marriott Bonvoy Points: 53,000--67,000/night | Cash: $330--$596/night Best CPP: 0.89¢ | Avg CPP: 0.57¢ 5th Night Free: Yes

The Sheraton Arabella sits in the same prestigious Son Vida neighborhood as the Castillo, sharing access to the Arabella Golf courses. Where the Castillo is a boutique castle experience, the Sheraton is a more accessible family-friendly resort with indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, and spacious rooms.

At 53,000--67,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night, this is the more affordable Son Vida option. On higher-cash-rate dates (when rates approach $596), the CPP reaches 0.89¢ -- respectable for Marriott. The 5th night free benefit brings the effective per-night cost down to ~42,000--54,000 points.

Transfer Path

Chase UR or Amex MR to Marriott at 1:1. A 5-night stay with 5th night free at the average ~61,000-point rate costs 244,000 Bonvoy points for roughly $1,740 in value.

Best for: Families and golfers who want a well-known brand with reliable quality. The indoor pool is a plus for shoulder-season visits when the weather can be unpredictable.

Also Worth Considering

Hilton Properties

Mallorca has four Hilton properties, including two Small Luxury Hotels (SLH):

  • Can Ferrereta, SLH -- A stunning boutique hotel in Santanyi. Points range from 120,000--1,242,000 per night with cash rates $569--$2,216. On the best dates, CPP reaches 1.29¢ -- the highest Hilton value on the island. However, Hilton's dynamic SLH pricing is volatile; some dates spike above 1 million points while cash rates only double. Date flexibility is essential.
  • Cap Rocat, SLH -- A converted military fortress overlooking the Bay of Palma. One of Mallorca's most exclusive properties with cash rates $1,035--$4,830. Points cost 220,000--2,835,000 per night with CPP up to 0.99¢. A genuine bucket-list property, though the points cost is steep.
  • Hilton Mallorca Galatzo and Hilton Sa Torre Mallorca Resort -- Both average ~121,000 points per night against ~$299 cash, yielding CPP around 0.26¢. Not recommended for points bookings at current pricing -- these are better booked with cash or Hilton free night certificates.

Marriott Design Hotels and More

  • Es Raco d'Arta, Design Hotels -- Artisan boutique in northeast Mallorca. 87,000--115,000 points, $583--$895 cash, up to 0.81¢ CPP. 5th night free.
  • Hospes Maricel & Spa, Design Hotels -- Seafront property near Palma. 78,000--110,000 points, $332--$888 cash, up to 0.82¢ CPP. 5th night free.
  • Nobis Hotel Palma, Design Hotels -- City boutique in central Palma. 74,000--80,000 points, $519--$600 cash. 5th night free.
  • AC Hotel Ciutat de Palma -- Budget-friendly city hotel. 27,000--47,000 points, $163--$394 cash, up to 0.84¢ CPP. 5th night free.
  • Hacienda Son Antem, Autograph Collection -- Golf resort south of Palma. 41,000--70,000 points, $196--$356 cash. 5th night free.

IHG and Wyndham

IHG One Rewards has eleven properties across Mallorca, mostly Iberostar Beachfront Resorts and independent hotels. Points costs range widely (6,000--120,000 per night) with CPP values generally below 0.55¢ -- making them difficult to recommend over cash bookings. Wyndham has one property (Wyndham Mallorca Portocolom Resort, 30,000 points flat rate, CPP up to 0.83¢ on peak dates).

How to Get to Mallorca With Miles

Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is one of Europe's busiest airports, especially in summer. From the US, you will connect through a European hub.

Award flight strategies:

  • Iberia Avios via Madrid: Iberia flies multiple daily frequencies from Madrid to Palma. Transfer Chase UR or Amex MR to Avios for the short hop. The Madrid--Palma segment can be as low as 5,000--7,500 Avios each way.
  • British Airways via London: BA offers seasonal direct flights from London to Palma, bookable with Avios. Transfer from Chase UR, Amex MR, or Bilt.
  • Star Alliance via Barcelona or Madrid: Use Avianca LifeMiles for the transatlantic leg, then book the short domestic hop to Palma in cash (often under $50 on Vueling or Ryanair).
Practical note: The short hop from mainland Spain to Palma is almost always cheaper in cash ($30--$80 on low-cost carriers) than in miles. Use miles for business class across the Atlantic, then pay cash for the Palma connection.

When to Visit Mallorca

  • Peak season (July--August): Hottest weather, biggest crowds, highest cash rates. Points redemptions deliver the best CPP value since cash rates are at their highest.
  • Shoulder season (May--June, September--October): The sweet spot for most travelers. Warm weather (75--85°F), fewer crowds, and still-solid CPP values. May and October offer the best balance of weather and pricing.
  • Off-season (November--March): Many seasonal hotels close (including Secrets Mallorca Villamil). The Castillo Son Vida and Sheraton stay open year-round and offer lower points pricing. Palma itself is pleasant in winter -- mild weather, no crowds, and the cathedral and old town are at their best.

What to Do in Mallorca

Beyond the beach, Mallorca offers:

  • Serra de Tramuntana: UNESCO World Heritage mountain range along the northwest coast. Drive the winding road from Soller to Sa Calobra for some of Europe's most dramatic coastal scenery.
  • Palma Old Town: Gothic cathedral (La Seu), Arab Baths, tapas bars in the narrow streets of the Santa Catalina neighborhood.
  • Cala Varques and Cala Mondrago: Two of the island's best cove beaches, accessible by short hikes. Crystal-clear water, pine-fringed shores, no hotels in sight.
  • Wine tasting in Binissalem: Mallorca has a thriving wine scene. The Binissalem DO region produces excellent reds from the indigenous Manto Negro grape.
  • Deia village: The hilltop artists' village made famous by Robert Graves. Stroll the stone lanes, visit his house museum, then hike down to Cala Deia for a swim.

Bottom Line

Mallorca is one of the deepest points destinations in the Mediterranean, with 30 bookable hotels across five loyalty programs. The Hyatt properties offer the strongest CPP values -- the Lindner at 12,000--18,000 points per night delivers up to 2.55¢ per point, and the Park Hyatt at 25,000--35,000 points provides a luxury experience at 1.67¢ CPP. On the Marriott side, the St. Regis Mardavall stands out at up to 1.28¢ CPP with 5th night free.

The play: If you have Chase Ultimate Rewards, transfer to Hyatt at 1:1 and book the Lindner (best value), Park Hyatt (best luxury), or Sarena de Muro (best beach). For Marriott loyalists with larger balances, the St. Regis Mardavall with 5th night free is the strongest redemption on the island. Hilton collectors should watch Can Ferrereta SLH pricing for dates where points cost drops to 120,000--150,000 against cash rates above $1,500.
