Turks and Caicos on Points: 5 Hotels Across Marriott, IHG, and Hilton in 2026

Sarah ColeMarch 23, 20266 min read

Two years ago, Turks and Caicos was basically impossible to book with points. Grace Bay Beach -- voted the world's best beach more times than anyone can count -- had zero major loyalty program hotels. If you wanted that impossibly turquoise water, you were paying cash. A lot of cash.

That's changed fast. In March 2026 alone, Hotel Indigo Grace Bay opened as the first IHG property on the island, and The Shore Club joined Leading Hotels of the World (March 16). Add the Ritz-Carlton and a growing Hilton SLH portfolio, and TCI now has serious points options across four programs. The story hasn't been told -- until now.

All points prices below were verified in our Itravy database on March 23, 2026. All programs use dynamic pricing, so rates may shift depending on your dates and demand -- but these numbers give you a reliable baseline.

1. Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort and Spa, South Caicos -- 106,000 Marriott Points

Points: 106,000/night | Cash: $1,469/night | CPP: 1.4 cents

The best CPP value in Turks and Caicos by a wide margin. Salterra sits on South Caicos -- a quieter, less developed island about 30 minutes by air from Providenciales. This is the "undiscovered TCI" play: pristine beaches, world-class bone fishing, and virtually no crowds. The Luxury Collection brand means butler-level service, a full spa, and waterfront dining.

At 106,000 Marriott points for a $1,469/night resort, you're getting 1.4 CPP -- outstanding for Marriott. The 5th night free benefit makes this even better: 5 nights costs 424,000 points (4 x 106,000), effectively dropping per-night cost to 84,800 points for a $1,469 room. That pushes CPP to 1.7 cents.

5-night stay with 5th free: 424,000 Marriott points = $7,345 in value. Effective CPP: 1.7 cents.

Transfer path: Chase UR -> Marriott at 1:1, or Amex MR -> Marriott at 1:1

2. The Ritz-Carlton, Turks and Caicos -- 162,000 Marriott Points

Points: 162,000/night | Cash: $1,763/night | CPP: 1.1 cents

The crown jewel. The Ritz-Carlton TCI sits directly on Grace Bay Beach -- the main event. This is the property most people picture when they think "Turks and Caicos luxury": beachfront suites, a world-class spa, multiple restaurants, and that signature Ritz service. The beach here is genuinely as good as the photos suggest -- powdery white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, no seaweed.

At 162,000 points per night, this is a premium redemption. But the cash rate of $1,763/night means you're still getting 1.1 CPP -- solid for this tier. With the 5th night free: 648,000 points for 5 nights (4 x 162,000), dropping effective cost to 129,600 per night.

5-night stay with 5th free: 648,000 Marriott points = $8,815 in value. Effective CPP: 1.4 cents.

Transfer path: Chase UR -> Marriott at 1:1, or Amex MR -> Marriott at 1:1

3. Hotel Indigo Grace Bay -- 105,000 IHG Points

Points: 105,000/night | Cash: $602/night | CPP: 0.6 cents

The newest hotel on this list -- Hotel Indigo Grace Bay just opened March 1, 2026, making it the first IHG property in Turks and Caicos. The boutique hotel is steps from Grace Bay Beach with an infinity pool, on-site restaurant, and a beach shuttle. Rooms feature a modern island aesthetic with local art and natural materials. TPG reported starting rates as low as 66,000 IHG points on select dates -- our database shows the average at 105,000, but check IHG.com for lower-demand dates.

At 105,000 points and $602 cash, the CPP is modest at 0.6 cents. But IHG's 4th night free benefit helps: 4 nights for 315,000 points saves you one full night. And for most travelers, this is the most "accessible" TCI points hotel -- it doesn't require the massive Marriott balances the Ritz or Salterra demand.

4-night stay with 4th free: 315,000 IHG points = $2,408 in value. Effective CPP: 0.8 cents.

Transfer path: Chase UR -> IHG at 1:1, or Bilt -> IHG at 1:1

4. South Bank, an SLH Hotel (Hilton) -- 210,000 Hilton Points

Points: 210,000/night | Cash: $1,789/night | CPP: 0.8 cents

South Bank is the ultra-luxury play. This Small Luxury Hotels of the World property joined Hilton's portfolio, meaning you can book with Hilton Honors points. The resort sits on Long Bay Beach on Providenciales' south side -- quieter than Grace Bay, with shallow turquoise water perfect for wading and kiteboarding.

At 210,000 Hilton points for $1,789/night, the straight CPP is 0.8 cents. But run the Amex math: Amex MR transfers to Hilton at 1:2, so 210,000 Hilton points costs 105,000 Amex MR. A $1,789/night room for 105,000 Amex points is effectively 1.7 CPP on your Membership Rewards. That's a different story entirely.

Hilton's 5th night free applies: 840,000 Hilton points (420,000 Amex MR) for 5 nights = $8,947 in value.

Transfer path: Amex MR -> Hilton at 1:2 (105,000 Amex MR per night)

5. Point Grace Resort and Spa, an SLH Hotel (Hilton) -- 130,000 Hilton Points

Points: 130,000/night | Cash: $1,217/night | CPP: 0.9 cents

Point Grace is a boutique all-suite resort right on Grace Bay Beach -- one of the original luxury properties on the island. The resort has an intimate feel with just 28 suites, each with ocean views, full kitchens, and British Colonial-style decor. It joined Hilton's SLH portfolio, making it bookable with Hilton Honors points.

At 130,000 Hilton points for $1,217, the CPP is 0.9 cents -- the best Hilton CPP on the island. Via Amex MR at 1:2, that's 65,000 Amex points per night for a $1,217 Grace Bay suite -- effectively 1.9 CPP on your Amex MR.

Transfer path: Amex MR -> Hilton at 1:2 (65,000 Amex MR per night)

The Big Picture: TCI Went From Zero to Five

Here's what makes this story remarkable. As recently as 2024, booking Turks and Caicos on points meant... you couldn't. The Ritz-Carlton was the lone option. Now look at the landscape:

HotelProgramPts/NightCash RateCPP
Salterra (South Caicos)Marriott106,000$1,4691.4c
Ritz-CarltonMarriott162,000$1,7631.1c
Hotel Indigo Grace BayIHG105,000$6020.6c
South Bank (SLH)Hilton210,000$1,7890.8c
Point Grace (SLH)Hilton130,000$1,2170.9c

Three programs, five properties, price points from $602 to $1,789. TCI is no longer a cash-only destination.

Bottom Line

Turks and Caicos has gone from "impossible on points" to one of the most interesting points destinations in the Caribbean -- and nobody's written this guide yet.

For Marriott points holders: Salterra at 106,000 points delivers the best straight CPP (1.4 cents) with the 5th night free pushing it to 1.7 cents. The Ritz-Carlton is the aspirational pick if you want Grace Bay Beach at 1.1 CPP.

For Hilton/Amex holders: Point Grace at 130,000 Hilton points (65,000 Amex MR) offers the best value per Amex point -- a Grace Bay suite for effectively 1.9 CPP on your MR.

For IHG/Chase holders: Hotel Indigo is the most accessible entry point. Check for dates closer to the 66,000-point floor -- the brand-new property may have lower pricing on shoulder-season dates.

Grace Bay Beach has been voted #1 in the world for years. Now you can actually book it with points.
